I had very good night after drivingfor about 12 hours. it was quite and clean. the room is good in term of size, tidiness and cleaniness. the hotel is located in the heart city street. the staff were freindly. the only thing is car parking price. I think it is over priced $ 38 per night.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was very adequate & clean & we would be happy to stay again. The only problem was taxis were like hens teeth & the area is not so wonderful so we had to walk a long way...lucky we like walking but if area is a bit dubious at night it is a bit of a worry. We chatted to another hotel customer who also had to walk due to lack of cabs at night!

I stayed 1 night at the Ibis hotel with my son last weekend and the service was excellent!!! I am very happy with the price as well, even my son (11yrs old) said that we should go back next time when staying in Newcastle and we most certainly will and I will recommend you to whoever needs a hotel to stay in at Newcastle!!! clean, easy, accessible, bright, convenient, etc, ...just what we needed....though v small room...but we weren't in Newcastle for the room!
