Tired Hotel Run by Disinterested Staff

Initial check in experience was okay. But things went downwards from there. On entering my room, I noticed the safe was locked and so I rang reception and ask them to have someone unlock it so I could store my valuables. No-one came. On the following day I asked again and the safe was unlocked when I returned to my room. I used the basin in the bathroom and it began filling with water as the drain was obviously blocked. I called reception to report it. No-one came to repair it during my stay. I used the shower and the bath filled up with around four inches of water. I reported it. Suffice to say the problem wasn't fixed before my stay ended. The bathroom was dirty and clearly had not been scoured and cleaned of dirt and dust for some time. The room and bathroom were tired and in need of refurbishment. I wouldn't recommend you frequent the adjoining coffee/ice cream shop either. My one experience involved asking for a long black and being told to wait a moment, after which the lone attendant pulled out her mobile phone and made a call! Suffice to say I walked away. This hotel certainly did not live up to its hype and my stay was one of disappointment. The concierge, however, was charming and helpful.

Great first Seattle experience

This hotel had all the amenities, comfort and prime location for my needs, all for a reasonable price. The only complaint would be that I had a view of a concrete wall from my room.

Older Type City Hotel

The hotel is a bit tired and in need of a makeover. The staff were excellent which compensated for the fact that the hotel did not offer any eating or bar facilities. There was however a free wine tasting between 5.00and 6.00pm. Great way to meet fellow guests. It is conveniently situated in downtown Seattle.

In the heart of Downtown

Though an older building, this hotel is well located and is a good value for the price. Provides easy access to public transportation and Light Rail line to SeaTac Airport. Is within a short walking distance of major Downtown sites. I would stay here again on a future visit to Seattle.

Beautiful Stay

We loved our stay with The Executive Hotel Pacific! We had a beautiful corner room on the 6th floor with a King size bed and a view of the city and the Bay. Our bed was very comfortable. Yes the room was smaller than some but perfectly appointed everywhere you looked. The furnishings, colors and quality of all were very nice! (the only draw back: there were no refrigerators in the rooms due to size restraints, so finding this out ahead of time we brought our own small electr cooler borrowed from a friend) The bathroom was small but well planned out. The bathroom door was frosted glass, so that even though the room was small it didn't feel too small. Felt like we were staying in a wonderful, very classy, old town Hotel. The young man that assisted us to our room was so helpful. Asked if we had any dinner plans and then made a call to the Italian restaurant we had chosen to make reservations for us and arranged a wonderful appetizer surprise for us! The Hotel has a wonderful wine service every evening from 5 to 6 pm. on the Mezzanine Floor. There's also a great Coffee cafe connected to the Hotel. Some folks complained of trouble knowing where to park. It's simple enough, though. If you follow the driving instr. from mapquest, etc, you simply have to park right in front of the front door, check-in, unload your things with the help of the front desk staff, and park your car afterward according to the instructions the desk staff give you. They are very helpful, both at check-in and check-out. We loved the location. We walked everywhere from there. Up to Pike's Place Market, a bit of a climb for a while but great exercise. Also, walked down to 1st street below Yale to the New Orleans club for Fantastic Jazz every night (especially Wed nights with the Clarence Accox band)! Also thoroughly enjoyed an evening of the Blues at the HWY 99 club just below the Market towards the bay. And if you're gluten intolerant (like me) you MUST visit the Coffee and Specialty Bakery on Western Ave (also just below the Market) for breakfast & lunch... sooo yummy, everything! Wonderful cinnamon rolls and for lunch fish sandwiches to die for! We can't wait for our next visit. We will definitely stay with the folks at the Executive Hotel Pacific again!

would stay there again

The hotel was centrally located and the price was reasonable. The doorman, Stanley was very helpful and kind, the staff at the front desk were a bit short and unfriendly with us when we checked in. The room was adequate, clean and quiet. We wish there was a small surface to lay out our belongings in the room. We would stay there again.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

The most amazing Japanese food and sushi was at Maneki in the International District. Please call ahead and make a reservation. It was definitely worth walk down to there to eat. There is also a cute shop around the corner called KOBO that you should see if you are in the area. Good selection of galleries, nice Art Museums (SAM) and the Asian Art Museum.

Great Experience

Hotel was comfortable with a nice upgraded decor. The best thing was the bellman/valet. He was sooo helpful and pleasant. Really took charge and didn't miss a beat with anything. We really felt appreciated for our business. Thanks!
