Formerly known as Longacre Square and finally renamed to its iconic moniker in April of 1904, Times Square has also been associated with well-known celebrities such as Irving Berlin, Fred Astaire, and Charlie Chaplin during the early 1900’s.

John F Kennedy International Airport connects New York City to the rest of the world by servicing both national and international flights. The MTA NYC Bus is the cheapest way to travel across Manhattan. Available private car services include LimoRes, Dial7, and Carmel. The Amtrak operates from New York Penn Station, which is located directly under Madison Square Garden on 34th street between 7th and 8th avenues.
