The hotel has a wonderful indoor park that is a sunlit oasis with a waterfall and laser show. Friendly staff, especially Vic from the front desk. Our family also enjoyed the hotel's bowling alley and the 18 movie theaters. The food court and Firelight buffet was very good for the price. Overall, Sam's Town exceed all expections.

Out of the way but not terrible

Sam's Town was a recommended hotel for guests attending a wedding. Overall my stay was pretty good. The rooms are adequate and the staff are friendly. 1 Mbps for Internet is terrible and I had to upgrade to the $10 for 10 Mbps every 24 hrs for my online class for 2 days of my stay. I can see how this place is family friendly because of the movie theater and bowling alley. The biggest drawback was that cabs did not want to take me back to the hotel from the strip. Not the hotel's fault but you'll definitely hear some gruff from cabbies when you say Sam's Town.

Family trip

We frequent Sam's Town do to the amenities it provides and it's location to other places we enjoy going. This trip however may have ruined me on Sam's Town. Not only did we have to listen to the hallway fights and arguments til the cops finally came and handled the situation which took several hours. The bathroom had hair coming from the tub which I guarantee wasn't mine. When I tried to get maid service to help they just sent me to front desk who apologized and still nothing was done.

Why would you stay anywhere else?

After staying on the Strip for a couple of days, moved to Sams Town - Wow Wow Wow. Everything you could think of, fantastic friendly staff, heaps of amenities. Shuttle bus to the Strip or Fremont. And, so inexpensive. Well done on a wonderful experience and Holiday.

Better than on the Strip????

I would say yes.... the rooms are clean, big and in a good shape. The prices are really good. The buffet is one of the best in Vegas ( not for the quantity but for the quality)
