From crisp salads and delicious sandwiches to Angus steaks and fresh seafood, even the heartiest appetite will be satisfied in the casual, friendly atmosphere of the All American Bar & Grille.
RUB BBQ
New York's highly acclaimed RUB BBQ opens a new location at The Rio! The 9,000-square-foot RUB BBQ at the Rio features championship-level barbecue created by Paul Kirk, aka The Kansas City Baron of Barbecue and The Ambassador of Barbecue. The restaurant features a stage for live entertainment - locals as well as well-known artists - and a menu that includes Barbequed Ribs cut St. Louis-style, Barbequed Sausage and Pastrami prepared the old-fashioned way, slow-cooked over wood in pits for 14 hours; Burnt Ends, smoked twice until crispy and lightly sauced; and The Taste of the Baron - a tasting of beef, pork, ham, pastrami, turkey, chicken, sausage and topped off with a quarter rack of ribs.
Fiore Steakhouse and Cigar Lounge
You will love the elegant and inviting atmosphere of Fiore Steakhouse, where we offer traditional steakhouse classics with an Italian Mediterranean flair.
Caf Martorano Las Vegas
The original Cafe Martorano in Florida is widely known for both its celebrity clientele and its South Philadelphia-style Italian-American cuisine. And now the homemade meatballs, the cheesesteak and everything else can be found in Rio's Masquerade Village, in a venue twice the size of the Florida location - but the mood and attitude are still strictly Martorano, and smokin' hot!
Voodoo Steak & Lounge at The Rio
Situated high above Las Vegas on the 50th and 51st floors of the Rios Masquerade Tower, alive with mystical sights, sounds, and flavors, the Voodoo Steak & Lounge at The Rio combines a quality steakhouse, live performance artists and DJs in the lounge, and the views from the outdoor double-decker nightclub. See Vegas from our point of view!
Village Seafood Buffet
Fresh from the ocean, this seafood extravaganza features all-you-can-eat favorites like lobster, snow crab legs, shrimp and oysters. For meat lovers, we offer prime rib, BBQ ribs, and chicken dishes. Newly renovated and better than ever! This is Las Vegas' only seafood buffet.
McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon
McFadden's, The Wildest Irish Pub on Earth, is now in Vegas, at The Rio! The 7,000-square-foot-plus tavern is an unpretentious party bar with two rooms (including a 150-person private party room with its own island bar), over 20 high-definition plasma TVs, dance floor and a breathtakingly long 100-foot mahogany bar perfect for dancing on. The full bar features dozens of favorite draught beers and 90-ounce fishbowl cocktails, and the menu includes Irish Stew, Shepherd's Pie, and McFadden's Almost Famous Boneless Buffalo Wings. McFadden's beauteous Lucky Charms and jovial Ministers of Hospitality will ensure everyone has fun 7 days a week, whether they're there to watch the game, get their drink on with the dueling pianos and DJ Soup Can, or celebrate a bachelorette party! Begun in New York City in 1977, McFadden's is now famous in 11 locations, including Chicago, Boston, Nashville, Philadelphia, and DC.

good stay

We stayed at this hotel for the price and location, the free shuttle was a bonus to get us to the strip. The only one device to use the internet was a pain and if you log on another device it was an extra charge. The seafood buffet was disappointing for the price, but the other main buffet dinner was good value.

Decent, not great

It's OK. It has everything it should, but nothing that really justifies staying off the Strip.

Worth to Stay

The stay was good but need to call room service couple of times and then they work on request. I stayed for 3 days only. Internet is not free and that's the major point for me and I had to spend extra $ 50 behind internet.

We weren't there to gamble - Don't open the mini-bar

WARNING! - Don't touch anything in the mini-bar/fridge under the TV. There are sensors under each item. We didn't use anything in it but picked up 2 items. Upon check-out there was a $30 charge on the bill for a 50 cent bottle of water and a 75 cent Snickers bar. They removed the charge when I called but can guess that a lot of people are getting charged just for touching items. My teenage son and I were in town for a couple of days to set up a computer for a friend. It was irritating that the parking structure was less than 100' from the bottom of the elevators for the Ipanema tower, but we had to hike through most of the casino, around one side of the bar and the World Buffet and then back around the other side just to get to where we parked. The TV sucked. Old CRT TV with a horrible picture and only a handful of channels. Local news TV was only channel worth watching. Also baffling that you can go to a $30/night hotel (Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn Exp) and get free Internet, but if you go to a $75 - $500 (and up) hotel and they charge $10-$20 per day for Internet access.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you want to try any of the 'gourmet' buffets in town (Winn/Encore, Cosmopolitan's Wicked Spoon, etc.). Go for lunch instead of dinner. Save $15-20 for basically the same menu.

Rio is a good hotel to day at

Rio is a good hotel to day at overall. I found the following issues to be of particular concern: 1) Location - even though Rio has shuttles running to/from Paris and Harrah's every 30 minutes, waiting for shuttles can be a pain especially if you want to go to the strip more than once a day. Shuttles can be off schedule considerable depending on traffic 2) Cleanliness - The hotel was clean in general but the glasses in my room weren't very clean, even after the room was serviced. 3) Ambience - Rio didn't really feel like a casino where I would want to gamble much. The minimums were way too high at most tables and slot machines were quirky 4) Food - buffet, while it has good meat carving stations, was very limited. It certainly cannot be compared to the likes of Wynn or even Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood.

Nowhere to sit in lobby if you

Nowhere to sit in lobby if you just want to relax. Only sitting places forces you to gamble or drink or buy food. Pool allows non-guests to come in. Pool closes too early at 6pm. Should be open much later...to guests only. Would have been nice to take a midnite swim when the temperature is 90 degrees.

Room carpets need cleaning better

Room carpets need cleaning better around walls and corners. Had a great trip though, food was good and really appreciated the coupon book at check-in. Would probably take advantage of further offers from your hotel/casino. Check in on Sunday was especially speedy, and it was great that you had someone distributing small bottles of water to those waiting in line.
