All smoke & mirrors

The hotel & casino were covered in a smokey haze. No opening windows or balconies for immediate respite. Had to walk through the casino smoke-filled floor & through double sets of doors to get some fresh air. Was accosted by time-share sales-people every time we walked the 'Parisian boulevards'. The room itself had blood on the carpet (no wonder it was called the Red room) and the piece-de-resistance, express checkout meant that I am still chasing up being overcharged for the 'amenities fee' - what amenities - you could not even get fresh water for free. I think for an amenities fee, there should be a minimum of bottled water provided to hotel guests. Yes the bright lights & view were stunning from the 32nd floor, but even that thrill does not last long at Paris Las Vegas - all smoke & mirrors people. Literally.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

You are better off going to the 'older' style casinos like the Rio. We saw Penn & Teller there and had a great meal quite cheaply. You can catch a free shuttle to RIO outside Bally's Casino next to the Paris Las Vegas.

Nearly perfect.

We upgraded to a suite which was massive. The only problem was over the bed head was a material valance which was quite dusty. Apart from the dust in the bed head valance, I would give this hotel 10/10. The staff were absolutely amazing, I could not fault them. All other amenities were excellent and I'd definitely return there.

Grest location

The Paris hotel is very central being located in the middle of the strip. Very big and busy hotel but runs well. Check in can take a little while but staff were friendly and helpful. Room although looking tired was big and comfortable and being on a higher floor meant there was no problems with noise. Would definitely stay here again.

ONLINE RATE Stretched

This is a nice hotel and casino. Just be warned that the online deal you get on price is a bit of a fantasy when you go to check in. I was among a group of 80 that were coming from everywhere to attend a wedding. We all experienced similar stories. The rooms we rented were not available at check in. We could get another room and pay $28 to check in right then, but it wouldn't be what you paid for and reserved... (ie you would get a double instead of a king) or you could pay $60 more and get a nicer room and they would waive the early check in. (any time before 4:00)

Very enjoyable, except the "continental breakfast"

Enjoyed our stay at the Paris. However, the hotel could save a lot of grief by eliminating their "free" continental breakfast amenity. Hotel guests are forced to walk at least 10 minutes each way to the Bally Hotel next door. Then, when they get there, they are forced to wait at least another 15 minutes on a long line to receive coffeee and a cruissant (or similar). Definitely not worth your limited time in Las Vegas.
