Great Business Trip

Had a convention at Caesars, and wanted to try something a tad higher class. You can walk to Caesars across a bridge which made it easy. Like most hotels in LV nowadays, the prices for food are outrageous for the most part and not much different from hotel to hotel. At the Bellagio, there was a buffet which was more reasonably priced than the restaurants, with a HUGE selection of different foods. Other than bringing your own food, it is your best bet as a money saver. The hotel room was modern, upscale, with large containers of different amenities. And, unlike most hotels in LV, it had FREE INTERNET!! That alone is worth it, but the pool area will take your breath away, and the water fountain "dancing waters" display is awesome. Like Caesars, the Bellagio had VERY upscale shops (you know, the kind with a single purse or single watch in the window and every employee in a suit...) However, virtually no one was in any of the stores. I can't see how they stay in business...

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Try staying here and do whatever you can to get a glimpse of the water fountain display (even if there are buildings in between you still can see some of it from your room, and, of course, you can go out to the sidewalk and view it as well.

Flashy hotel in great location!

We stayed at the Bellagio for four nights in a fountain view king room. Unfortunately our first night didn't include what we expected.. we checked in believing we had a king bed however upon arrival to our room we had two queen beds (we are a couple on holiday so not quite what we wanted!), we weren't able to change until the next morning. Apart from this, we had a great time staying at the Bellagio. King room is incredibly spacious and our view plus the fountain show was amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Not much of a hint but I would recommend a Cirque Du Soleil show as a must see (any one, they are all amazing) and are a short walk or short drive away.

Luxury with a view

Stayed at the Bellagio Las Vegas September 2014 - apart form being a good walk from the main entrance as it was in the spa tower the room was impeccable. The bed was amazing! Definitely recommend getting a fountain view room - adds to the spectacular Vegas experience right from your room. Daytime by the pool with iced cocktails was a highlight. Will be returning soon!

Not for us

While our room at the Bellagio was beautiful, it was a let down on other levels. Massive queues just to check in and also to eat at there restaurants. When we couldn't get into the Buffet for breakfast on day one, we went to the cafe off the conservatiry. Service was average but food was almost in edible, from raw potato in the hash browns, uncooked, soggy muffins with the eggs benefict and even egg shells in the eggs. I left most of my meal but was not asked if it was alright. Plates were cleared and we were presented with an incredibly overpriced bill. We also tried to eat dinner at another Bellagio restaurant called Noodles but the queues meant there would be at least an hour wait. We have never stayed at a hotel that lacked the facilities to look after and feed there guests. We were on a non smoking floor yet the hallway and the room, to an extent, stunk of smoke due to the air conditioning system. We will never return

Almost Perfect

The hotel is incredible, in our short stay (3 days) we probably only covered 50% of the facilities. The amenities are amazing. (Note: We were first timers to Vegas). Only niggles were the mini bar and lack of tea/coffee in room. We appreciate that all hotels consider a mini bar as a source of further revenue, but it is useful to have a refrigerator that can provide some space for guests personal usage. Also Tea / Coffee in the room is a feature found in nearly all hotels, and is there because guests enjoy the convenience.

no fridge

Hotel was beautiful and great location, absolutely amazing decor inside I have never seen anything like it. Staff were very helpful. The only thing I would complain about was they had no room in the I room fridge for you to put anything. Their fridge is computerised and full so anything you take out automatically gets charged to your bill, which is okay, but if you wanted to keep anything of your own cold you couldn't .. They do have fridges you can specially request but I'm sure there is a charge for that and really where they would put it I'm not sure.. But well worth the cost to stay there I would recommend it to anyone heading to vegas.

Can't beat Bellagio

This hotel/resort was outstanding. Management, chefs and staff went out of their way to accommodate requests that we had. The location was outstanding with transport right outside the door. Although you never really wanted to leave. Jean Phillipe's patisserie is an absolute gem and difficult to resist. The dancing fountains and accompanying soundtrack were amazing. We could not fault the Bellagio but the only problem was our stay there was too short!

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

The $20 three day bus pass for Deuce or SDX (express tram/bus) is the best way to get from one end of the strip to the other. It goes from premium outlets North to the South outlets. Best way to get around.

Nice hotel in great location

Very nice hotel. It is in a great location along the Vegas strip. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing that could be improved is the shower head as it didn't give out a lot of water and also had a sink that would make a bit of noise during the night. Casino area is good and has a great pool area. Although we paid for ou hotel when you get there you have to pay a resort fee which was around $90. Costs a bit of money but I would stay here again.
