Disappointed

Don't let them put you in the Temple Tower rooms. your window in your room is an interior window overlooking the lobby. Very disappointing with that. asked for a different room and said it would be a 80.00 up charge.

Check out the view...

The location was great, obviously October is the off season so it's quiet & cheaper than summer. The room resembled a room out of that hotel from "The Shinning" (staring Jack Nickolson)... The view was, ah non existent, the windows were painted black! True, no outside light! I can safely say I have never stayed in such a room before. The area though was nice by day, not much to do at night and not much to eat except for room service or their fancy restaurants.. Buffet..CLOSED! I'm glad I went to check out the Atlantic City but better now I'm back on New York City. If you dare.. One night only is all that's required during the off season (unless your a gambler.. Then maybe seek help).

Quick getaway

Definitely one of the better hotels, I have stayed at in AC. I really liked how it doesn't feel like you have to walk through a maze of casinos to get to your room. The staff was nice, but check-in took forever, as they don't have a lot of staff employed there, at the time we showed up 1:45 pm. Overall, the room we received was very spacious and a great deal for the price. It was comfy, with a loveseat, and two chairs to lounge in. My one complaint is that you could hear the music from the restaurant/bar if you stay in the North or South Tower on the bottom floors, If you are a light sleeper like myself it can be a problem. It was also very dark, as the windows available look out to lobby and bar/restaurant. The best part of the hotel is that it is in walking distance from an Outlet Mall with tons of great deals.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Short walk to Tanger Outlet Shops. If you sign up to their email list, they send you a 20% coupon off. Also, the Applebee's in this shopping mall has a great happy hour deal from 3-6.

Nice place. No heat in room

It's a nice hotel but needs better customer service. Had no heat in room. Had to wait hours before I got a response. Finally got new room after a day but didn't have a great view like other room. I might go back if the customer service gets better

Disappointed

I came for a I hoped to be a nice one night getaway, so I booked a deluxe single king bed room. When I inquired if it might have a bathtub, I was told only suites carried those since the remodel. I was slightly disappointed, but whatever. A remodeled room is better than a crumby old one. The room I i got which faces back out to the lobby area is clean. However after setting the heat up for 4 hours, it's still pretty cold. I contacted the front desk and they said they could ONLY switch me to a two full bed room since everything was full. Keep in mind this is a WED NIGHT in JANUARY. It's was a bit ridiculous, but I was not going to stay in a cold room all night. I switched rooms, and ended up across the hall in a bedroom that faced into an alleyway. Again, whatever. The heat worked, but as I was getting ready for bed, both beds had a little dip in the middle. I mean, really? Comfortwise it was okay. However, again considering this was supposed to be a nice getaway, I was more disappointed than anything else. Walls/doors are also paper thin. I could hear the neighbors. Won't be coming back.
