Beware of additional charges

The location is great, room comfortable enough, has the basic amenities and staff are friendly. It is dated.. And for the additional fees for the gym (which most tourists don't use) and wifi, they charge for printing of boarding passes.. Even cheaper hotels and b&b print them for free! Not happy about it.

Quick stay for educational purposes

It was great opportunity to be in the same place to attend a conference for 2 days. I was trying to look for easy way to just stay in the same place instead of walking around or using other transportation to get to my destination. Only problem is that I had to pay a separate place to keep my car due to highest parking rates for a stay overnight. I did like all the rest of accommodations. The first room I got had a smell like wet rugs and dogs, but, I call and they changed me to a different room. I appreciated.

Great Location!

The hotel was close to Boston Common, shops, resturants & a shopping centre. Check in and check out was easy and fast. The beds were very comfortable, however, the room was a bit noisy.

Boston is very easy to get around

Our stay was fine except for a disturbance outside our door at 3AM. A young girl was drunk and disorderly and had to be arrested by the police. The hotel manager Michael was kind enough to comp us breakfast.

Not a room that should be a part of the Boston Park Plaza

This room was tiny and looked as tho it belonged in a cheap motel and jot a four star hotel. There was not a wardrobe or closet for a place to hang clothes. The room was so small that only 1 person could walk around the other side of the bed at a time (the 2nd person had to be on the bed or in the bathroom). You had to be completely inside the bathroom in order to shut the door. The tiles in the shower had dirty brown grout. I believe I was on the 8 th floor. This particular floor that I stayed on is obviously for rooms that people pay less for while thinking that they are staying at a glamorous Boston hotel. I knew that I was getting a deal on the room, but I had no idea that the Boston Park Plaza had such a ghetto side. I recommend this hotel but stay away from this floor. My friends were 2 floors up and the rooms looked as they should for a luxury hotel. Great location.

Couples trip

The hotel is in a great location and the lobby is very nice. The rooms are small but it is expected for an hotel of this age. We found the customer below-par for a few reasons. We were on our 10th anniversary and wanted to go out for a nice meal. We arrived in Boston from New Brunswick after an 8 hour drive, so we weren't dressed to go out at the time but we went to see the concierge and definitely made us feel uncomfortable when we asked for dinner suggestion (Probably because we didn't fit his normal clientele profile). Secondly, lack of communication at check in on the facilities fee. We weren't told about the fee (which included WIFI) and when called from the room to inquire for the WIFI fee we were told $17.00 so we didn't use it since we were only using to look at restaurant options because to concierge was rude when we asked questions on different restaurants. We ended up at Morton's for dinner (FANTASTIC) after making a few phone calls to different restaurants and friends. Better communication and concierge would have made this a good experience to a perfect experience.

I enjoyed staying at Boston Park Plaza. Placed at a good location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I stayed over the weekend hence they was very less staff for room service at evening time.

Sugar coated

I needed to stay one night in Boston to pick up my kid from college. I usually stay at Sheraton Boston but I was recommended The Boston Park Plaza , so I decided to try. I made terrible mistake!! Hotel is mostly renovated for entertainment in the lobby . It looks very modern when you walk in but... Rooms are so small !! Tiny bathrooms and most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in. Valet parking is $48 . I was told that Hotel just spent a lot of money in renovation but mostly in the lobby that is very modern and pretty loud . They have few large hip bars packed with young people. Maybe they should invest some in the rooms as well. Overall. Looks pretty outside but inside... I must say i will not be back.
