We've stayed here twice. The first was for our Wedding- we stayed here the night before and got married in the Morning just down the street. It was very convenient, they were nice to my family, and were able to accommodate many people, which was
helpful. They also held our luncheon after the wedding and it was wonderful- nothing super fancy but very nice staff and great food.
Our second stay was very ordinary. Just wanted a short get-away. It was quiet and not too busy. We felt the breakfast buffet downstairs was a little too pricey for us, but the rooms are comfortable. Again, nothing fancy, but affordable.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Head towards Skokie on Lake Drive (East) and take the Yellow Train to the Red to get downtown. For two of us, it cost a total of $10 there and back and you end up right on Chicago Ave in downtown. Sure beats trying to fight traffic or finding a parking place.
