Wrigley Field hotels
Wrigley Field is a world-famous baseball stadium not only for those native to the beautiful city of Chicago, IL, but also for major league baseball fans across the world. The stadium’s ivy-covered outfield walls have become synonymous worldwide with Chicago’s hometown heroes, the Cubs, and the park’s old-school charms, such as the hand-turned scoreboard and the giant red sign hanging above the facility’s main entrance, draw thousands of visitors to this iconic destination year after year. Built in 1914, the field was originally named Weeghman Park after its builder, Charles Weeghman, but was later named after William Wrigley Jr. when he became the team’s owner in 1926.
- Enjoy a world-famous hot dog from one of the many Chicago Dogs stands located throughout the main concourse and the bleachers.
- Join a 90-minute guided tour of Wrigley Field to discover interesting insight from local experts about one of Chicago’s most iconic structures.
- Sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" with thousands of diehard Cubs fans during the game’s famous seventh inning stretch.
Locals and frequenting holidaymakers alike agree that, because parking is minimal around the stadium, public transit proves a much better option for reaching the facility expediently. The CTA red line stops at Addison Street, which is a short walk from the ballpark. Visitors travelling from other portions of Chicago can take the blue line then transfer to a bus heading to the Addison Street stop. Visitors arriving by private car can park at Lane Tech High School or DeVry University then take a shuttle to Wrigley Field.
