Not a resort

I would frankly say not worth spending a honeymoon flying for 10 hours for this kind of resort. It is not a resort. The pool is tiny, limited amenities provided, limited kayaks available, air con is small and noisy, can hear other conversation from the next room. Nothing great really. I would say they should call themaelves a motel instead of a resort.

This is not a resort!

It took three hours to get to this place, using a hotel shuttle group ....... But that is another story. I paid $500 a night, expecting a degree of luxury and resort qualities. This place does not even provide the most basic of hotel services - daily room servicing. There are no resort services at all. No restaurant, no bar, no massage services, no luxury accommodation, etc. It consists of a group of shacks (ala Mchales Navy). No carpet, old decor and in real need of repair and renewal. The units are dark and smelly. Noise from adjoining units easily penetrates through. The beds are squeaky and old. Totally unfriendly for the elderly and those with a disability as there are 35 steep steps to take to get to some rooms and the bay. No shops nearby and the taxi fare to the city is $60. The shower and toilet were not cleaned when we checked in. In summary, a total disaster. Would have been better off spending $500 a night in a five star hotel in Honolulu. Give this dump a miss!

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Take the bus to the mall - only $2.50 each way. Great shopping deals to be had.
