So close to everything

We couldn't have been any closer to Disneyland - it was across the road. Plenty of knick knack shops around and good eating close by. The staff were brilliant as I had ordered many items from Walmart & Halloween shop and they arrived daily - big boxes full and the first ones were in our room when we arrived and they called out as we passed every time there were more. The kids loved the pool and the adults could relax in the spa. The only minor moans were breakfast room way too small and I couldn't work the coffee machine but I had that problem wherever we went. As I drink tea a kettle would have suited better.

So so

You can't beat the location...literally a 5 minute walk to the park gates. So nice if you have little ones. Our room was directly in front of the pool and I was worried it would be noisy until late but luckily it quieted down by about 9-9:30 each night. Room was comfy but a little too bright for me. I need those black out curtains or an eye mask to sleep if there is light coming through the room. Our fridge was so cold that it froze our yogurts, our half gallon of milk that we brought for our baby and anything we put in there. The staff was nice enough to let us in past the 9 o'clock ending time of the continental breakfast to fill up with milk. The room was super muggy and humid. Thankfully the AC worked well but I dislike sleeping with it on because it dries out the air and the noise is distracting. :(. For the price of this hotel they DEFINITELY shouldn't be charging for parking each night...that is pretty RIDICULOUS. I love the location but probably wouldn't stay here again. I think I would stay at another hotel nearby...our family stayed at Candy Cane Hotel and it seemed much nicer.

Great location

Stayed at the Del Sol to visit Disneyland. The location is excellent! It is right across the road from Disneyland, probably about a 5 minute walk to the gates. The rooms are kept clean and are comfortable. The lady in the reception wasn't particularly friendly or helpful with requests. However, I think the location makes this place an excellent place to stay if you plan on spending a lot of time at the park and want somewhere nearby.

Good budget hotel and prime location

Location is considered as very appropriated. Upon room approx USD 100, I think it's hard to find hotel near disneyland maingate. Continental breakfast is normal but wr can bring juice or apple to our room. Find bargain disney ticket and tour at discountticket booth at Gardenwalk ( smal bargain but ok...hard to find bargain ticket for disneyland tour or LA city tour) Revisit is exprcted

Will stay elsewhere next time

The front desk staff when we arrived was not very polite or welcoming. She was sarcastic and abrupt. The pool's heater was broken. The rooms are OK but their age is showing in the grungy corners. The noise level from the pool and walkways is unbelievable, so you hear each guest come and go. The continental breakfast consists of powered juice, two cereals, white and brown bread, frozen waffles and jarred boiled eggs. The four slice toaster only toasts one side of the bread. There are also store bought pastries including mini muffins and donuts. On the third day there were oranges.

Would stay again.

The staff were very helpful from the moment we checked in until we checked out, every request was met with ease and a smile. We stayed in a 2 x Queen bed room for three adults for 4 nights and the room was huge and clean. The breakfast each day was simple but fine and plenty to fuel us for the morning activities before we headed into Disneyland. We didn't use the pool area but it looked good. We had an upstairs room at the back of the hotel (by request). Be aware there is no lift and you do need to take bags upstairs, this was not a problem for us but could be for others. We were not looking for 5 star, just a nice clean, quite place to sleep with comfortable beds and in a good location this motel fits the bill. The location of this Hotel to Disneyland and Downtown Disney is amazing, perfect for when you have spent the days walking around and you just want to fall into bed, just 5 minutes to the Gate! I would stay here again no problem.

Best location for Disneyland

The location could not be better. You literally cross the road and you're at Disneyland. Pool and spa were great for the rest days. Free breakfast was adequate (the room is cramped). The hotel is not as flash as others, but for value for money and location, it can't be beaten.

Stone's throw from Disneyland

The staff who checked us in probably woke up from the wrong side of the bed. Our enquiries were met with bleak and nonchalant answers. The 'free wifi' never worked during our 4 days stay. The front desk told us 'our manager said it worked well'. The location of the hotel is just 5 mins walk to Disneyland. There are eateries littered along the way so you will not go hungry. The decor, furniture and bathroom requires refurbishment. We were overwhelmed with 'mould / moist?!' smell when we opened the room. In summary : the hotel requires upgrading, the unhappy service staff requires salary adjustments. The convenient location can remain status quo. And I hope to be a happy customer the next time I return.

DO NOT patronise Denny's right infront of Del Sol Inn. They have the worst service staff. 80% of the patrons were 'unserved' after the initial food arrived. It was the worst service I experienced in my 21 days in America.
