Not quite sure how they have attained a four star rating, I suspect this is for the pub and restaurant and not the hotel which is across the road.
Everything from the bathroom to the furniture is tired and in need of updating.
Fan in room did not
work so we were moved to another room. Both rooms smelt musty.
Food in restaurant was excellent although black pudding in batter was not available even though we were the first people in the restaurant and it was on today's specials menu that had that days date on it!!!
Steep stairs up to most rooms with no lift.
Would not stay here again.
