I had to ask to change rooms twice and settled on the third room with a superior bed. The first room was very poor with rust on the bathrail, carpets badly overworn and general condition was very poor. The next room the tray had not been cleaned
was very similar in condition with stains on bed linen, whiltst the door frame hinted at being broken into as the frame was partially loose by the lock entrance. The staff tried to amend the situation but the hotel does not deserve three stars and I would suggest booking across the road at the premier Inn. Bad experience even if the maxim of you get what you paid for applies, a very poor experience. Hate to think what the food is like!!!! Yours sincerely Mel
