A very comfortable room and hotel. The exterior gives a dated impression, but inside very modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings. Our twin room was a good size. My only niggle about the room was the bathroom was on the small size and the
shower curtain smelt damp and the toilet did not flush properly.
I must recommend the night staff, in particular Rebecca and Tom (?), for whom nothing was too much trouble and they dealt with guests who had a little too much to drink returning from a night out in Newcastle with patience and also making sure one particular guests got to his room.
