Romantic getaway

Went to this hotel for a birthday Spa weekend with my girfriend. We were both very impressed and she enjoyed the pampering and great service from the hotel. She had the Spa Champagne and sandwiches treatment, and what a bargain that turned out to be. Overall, we were both well looked after. I used the gymn, pool and sauna, although the room was a little warm, it was comfortable enough to make up for it. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing getaway

We had a garden room with a huge comfortable bed, large room, patio with sunbeds and a sea view the steps from the patio lead out onto a garden walk. All in all the environment was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. We found the staff to always be very courteous and helpful. The food was on the expensive side but was nicely cooked and presented. If I have any criticism it would be that some parts of the hotel decor was looking on the tired side and Reception need to take more care with their data entry/computer systems as they seemed to have inaccurate information recorded with a few peoples billing information at both arrivals and departures, including that of our own, although errors were quickly rectified without fuss.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Make use of the Ferries down at the Harbour and visit other areas of Devon. You can reach Brixham in 30 minutes from Torquay by Ferry and all for a mere £2 per person return trip! If you don't have much time to spare, then join a Ferry trip for an hour's tour of the island. You won't be disappointed.
