We stayed at The Scarisbrick because we were attending a wedding ceremony there and it was convenient to stay for the night also. The hotel is typical of the buildings around, built in Victorian times and is a bit "tired" compared with modern
hotels but also more interesting with "wasted space" compared with efficient modern buildings
