Friendly and Fabulous

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find great location when travelling. Staff were friendly and helpful (all of them) Lovely room and was cool despite being over 30 degrees plus outside, it had a fridge with two bottles of (very welcome) water. There was plenty of space to sit outside in a pleasant garden. The food was lovely (although my portion of pork could have fed another two people) and reasonably priced, The breakfast was good with some great bacon and tasty egg. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area.

Great place to stay

After booking relatively late (the day before) I was not sure what to expect but we were very glad we chose here. It is not a city location, but very handy to Norwich, the airport and the Norfolk Broads and surrounds. The staff were very helpful and accommodating managing to also fit us in for a booking at the Inn's very busy pub/restaurant at short notice, and although the wait for food was a little long the food was very good. The rooms (we booked two, a family and a standard double) were exceptional, very clean and tidy. The temp controlled shower (in family room) was amazing - worth the price of the room alone! Breakfast in the morning was very nice, with many options to choose from, but the faithful old Full English is hard to pass up! Would definitely stay there again if in the same area.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If you have children, the Bure Valley Steam Railway in Aylsham is a great way to experience the countryside, and good value when combined with a Broads cruise!
