Though Norwich no longer plays second fiddle to London, as it once did as far back as the 11th century, the Norfolk county city of over 130,000 people is a gem nonetheless. Home to a grand cathedral and castle, both of which date back again, to the halcyon period of the 11th century, the city is one of character, culture and beauty.
In addition to Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle, the city boasts a collection of ten other heritage landmarks, which include among others, Dragon Hall, The Great Hospital and the beautiful Art Deco City Hall. As a premier hub of arts and culture in Norfolk and indeed, the East Anglia region of England, Norwich hosts a number of important festivals and events throughout the year. The eclectic Norfolk and Norwich Festival is by far the most prominent and draws thousands of people to multiple venues in and around the city every May.
Norwich enjoys a temperate maritime climate, with mild temperatures throughout the year.
- Winter (December to February) 2-7°C

- Summer (June to September) 10-21°C
