Overnight stay with my daughter

We looked for a central hotel close to the station & the 02 academy as we went to a gig. This hotel was ideally located for both, also very handy to do alittle shopping. Lovely clean bathroom & bedroom. Only thing I would suggest is they look at the cost of their breakfast, at £10 extra each I felt it was quite expensive so we opted against it & a lovely one just down the road half the price. Reception staff were very friendly & helpful too

Standard

Outside needs some TLC. Inside reception area was lovely. Gentleman booking us in was very professional. Room was very very small! Both had to get out of one side of the bed as there was no room at all on side closest to wall. Room was very basic felt like it should of been a laundry cupboard. Tv reception wasn't great. Not very easy to use either. Bed was really small and pillows very soft although there were 2 extras on top of wardrobe. I would of asked to be moved had i been staying longer than 1 night. I dare say if we were in a bigger room things may have been different. Only view we had was of back of another building. The location was fabulous couldn't fault it. I would stay here again but would make some requests before hand.

weekend visit

the rooms were a little tired, the wardrobe door looked like it had been hung numerous times, the bathroom similarly needed replacement. The lobby area looked like it had been refurbished, breakfast was very good and excellent location.

Good value but creaky floor boards

The lobby was very inviteing. The hotel is close to the rail station and plenty of things to eat, drink and within walking distance. The welcome on arrival was really friendly and on the whole the stay was decent. But alas another basic was missing...no air con and the overall look of the room needs to be renovated

Good Stay

Perfect location right opposite the train station and a good location for the city center as well too with bars and surrounding restaurants just minutes walk away. The hotel is a comfortable clean place and the staff very helpful. the only gripe i have is there was no safe in my room, which i feel for a hotel of this standard/quality this should be a standard addition.

quiet stay for location

nice hotel, not sure if was given a small double when I paid for a standard double as the room (214) was small and I had notice that my key card number had been changed - looking on the floor plan on the back of the hotel room door - our room was smaller than the one originally assigned ?? didn't stay for breakfast, £15 each, there are enough nice cafes on your doorstep offering full English breakfasts at half the price .... Stay again ???? probably if the room is cheaper than others near by, it was a quiet hotel for the area (inside and outside the hotel) apart from the room doors that are heavy and when slam do slam with a thud. hotel was impeccably clean and staff polite
