Because of its location just outside of Manchester’s city centre, the Museum of Science and Industry can be easily reached by taking the train or tram to the Deansgate stop, which is just a five-minute walk from the Museum. There is a large car park near the museum, but it fills up quickly (especially on the weekends) so get there early if you want to find a good place to park. Many travellers choose to bike to the Museum of Science and Industry by taking the Modern History Heritage Cycle Trail that leads cyclists past some of Manchester’s most important historical sites.
