Area description
Malvern is 3 miles away a Spa Town founded by the Victorians with a Priory rebuilt in 1460; Abbey Gateway Museum, Elgar's grave, Restored Railway Station, Malvern Theatre featuring Almeida season and many Chichester productions. The nearby Three Counties showground offers lots of events throughout the year both major and minor.

The restaurant is well regarded for the consistency of the food served which is underlined by being awarded two AA Rosettes. The chef brigade is headed by son, Dominic, with a supporting cast of Adam, Salou, Chris, Sam and Andrew, most of whom have been with the hotel for a while now and are integral to the maintenance of the standards. Dinner in the restaurant costs from 21.50. An extensive wine list where among the more familiar labels, adventurous palates will discover vintages from distant corners of the new and old worlds on a list which has won the Johansens Wine List of the year.
