Had no record of my booking!!!

Having booked and paid for this hotel some 5 weeks before my stay, I was appalled to find that they couldn't trace my booking. I arrived to check in, with my hotel booking confirmation to hand, only to be confronted with the news that the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done! When I asked to speak to management, I was told that nobody was on site. When I enquired into internet access to find an alternative place to stay, I was told that the internet access was not working. I eventually spoke via telephone to a 'manager' who was very dismissive of my situation and couldn't wait to process a refund on my booking to get rid of the problem. The only positive from this experience was the attitude of the receptionist who tried admirably to find me alternative accommodation using her own smartphone. She eventually found me a bed and breakfast for the night and couldn't apologise enough for what had happened. 'Management' could learn a lot of customer service skills from this fantastic lady.

convenient and central

Very nice greeting but after that room small with under average size double bed on legs and coasters, not made up as gallery pictures show on website and drab outlook. No WiFi and very small tv with basic 5 channels. Surprising no literature or writing apparel in room. Ok for stop over only. Positives are the room clean
