overprices London hotel

it's fairly easy to get overcharged when staying at any London hotel - and this is no exception. The staff was nice enough but the room and the facilities did not match the price: £200 for one night. I guess the location is OK if you're into the touristy parts of London

small room hotel

I stay for one week, the room is too small, about 100 square feet and the bed is too soft. only the location is the best,is very near the China Town. If the room size at about 150 square feet or more , it should be much better.

Clean but cramped

Maybe this is normal for Europe, but we found this room to be uncomfortably small. No drawers for our clothing so we lived out of suitcases. However, with the suitcases open, we couldn't move around the room. Plus, if someone sat in the chair, the other person had to climb over the bed to get by. Noisy outside. But clean room and nice staff.

Excellent

I must admit that this hotel located very good comparing about transport, outgoing. I have totally positive memories about this hotel except one thing. The windows at the hotel is very old and not good isolated. I come back to Norway but as a sick person. Room temprature couldn't be warm. They must really renew the windows, or try to isolate better. It was blowing in the bathroom. Room quality and staff are very good. It was very good service.

Long Term Size or Room and Attitude Issues With Hotel and Parent Companies for 2012

Despite having previously registered my transaction etc my money was extracted (not just a swipe) in full before I had viewed the room - which I thought unusual - I was told it was company policy of the Best Western Premier Shaftesbury Piccadilly Hotel (and although they claim no responsibility and have 'shafted' the Shaftesbury Group - also and conjointly Precis Properties London Subsidiary and Headquarters - T/A Shaftesbury Hotels London ); Interchange and Consort Hotels Ltd (T/A Best Western Hotels GB) and London Premier Hotels Ltd). As the result of my 2011 experience and post-experience of the collective Shaftesbury/Best Western/London Premier Hotels, I would discourage all others from engaging the said services until some reconciliation of discriminatory, health and other matters and public improvement of the minute size and cleanliness of the rooms occurs. There will be interesting times ahead leading to the Olympics and particularly the Paralympics 2012 as I discuss options with my country men and women,

Carrying bags on the London tube - pick the carriages which have alcoves at one end to lean on and have less passengers alighting - be near the door as close as possible yourself without blocking others - take your time after alighting - there are sometimes stairs as well as elevators
