Special Trip with a Loved One

The special feel of the hotel started immediately with the wonderfully attentive staff and the immediate impact of the beautiful and intimate hotel lobby. We used the hotel as a superb base to revisit London ..there is plenty within easy walking distance ..including London's oldest restaurant. We were able to walk to a West End show, visit the National Gallery, St Paul's and walk along the Thames all from the hotel. My girlfriend was suffering back pains in the middle of the night and the night staff were extremely helpful and able to heat up a hot pack for her. A relaxing massage was booked and immensely enjoyed. The only thing potentially missing (and this is a nice to have for convenience) would have been a small fridge in the room ...an empty one for discretional use only to store small goods. Overall the stay was wonderful ...being able to stay at an iconic hotel ..wonderfully preserved, superbly located and with very helpful staff.

Luxury..!

This was our first visit to the savoy, and felt very welcome, the staff could not have been more helpful , but was a little disappointed to find no coffee / tea making facilities in our room. Otherwise, everything else was as expected if not more at a top London hotel, the evening meal was lovely. Would stay again.

The epitome of a 5 star hotel!

The best way I would describe the Savoy Hotel is as the epitome of a what a 5 star hotel should be. It was the perfect end to a European vacation. Firstly we were greeted by name at the hotel entrance by Sebastian who proceeded to show us around the hotel and to our rooms. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very spacious with matching luxurious bathrooms. The rooms were always kept to exacting standards and fresh bottled water each evening with turn down service was a lovely touch. We had 2 adjoining rooms ( as we are a family of 5). The rooms were adjoined by a large corridor and were very quiet ensuring a sound nights sleep. The rooms are individually air conditioned which was lovely considering we were in London during a warm spell. The beds were very comfortable and the linen top quality. We dined at Kaspars twice during our stay and frequented The American bar on numerous occasions. The staff were all very knowledgeable and professional at all times. We also used the hotels gym which was fully equipped with an exercise room and a weights room and also used the hotels swimming pool. We have travelled extensively (this is our 3rd trip to Europe in 4 years) and have stayed in numerous hotels(many being 5 star) but I must say that nothing has quite matched the experience that we were provided with at The Savoy. From its opulent interiors and rich history, to its exacting standards in customer service, it definitely has left its mark on us in a most positive way. Would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying here again on our next trip to London. Cheers :)
