Location, location, location...

Although a little on the pricier side, the hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing and is close to two tube stations, a supermarket, lots of restaurants, and shopping.

Ideal base for shopping

I had a shopping weekend in London, and was on my own. The Cavendish couldn't be better situated - between Green Park and Piccadilly Circus underground stations and an easy walk to Bond St, Oxford St, Regent St ad Covent Garden. I found the bar and restaurant expensive as you would expect, but the area is full of nice places to eat for all budgets. I look forward to staying at the Cavendish again.

Great location , nice rooms

We had 2 rooms. One right next to the lifts on 5 th floor. Was slightly concerned having read reviews , but we weren't bothered by noise in the night. Slightly larger room on 11 th floor with view of BT tower. Both rooms were nicely decorated and clean with good sized bathrooms. Was very impressed with the concierge. At 8 am on Sunday morning with no shops open he produced a much appreciated pair of tights. Breakfast quite expensive but very nice

Perfect for couple's city break

After searching through rafts and rafts of hotels on various websites in london focusing on 5 stars I found the reviews for them to be somewhat disappointing. I therefore decided to book with the Cavendish, yes a 4 star hotel but with 5 star reviews. The hotel and room (Executive Room) were perfect and very well sized. I had requested a room with a view and they did not disappoint; I was given a room on the 14th floor with spectacular views of: Big Ben, London Eye, The Shard etc. The staff were friendly and the location cannot get any better. We will definitely be staying again.

Fantastic stay, great location!

To start, this hotel was a great price considering the area it was in, we were on the doorstep of picadilly which was great. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are a great size, you have everything you need in the rooms and they are always cleaned to a very high standard. I had the perfect stay here and cannot fault one single thing about this hotel. Great stay and would recommend to all!

50th Celebrations

We had an excellent stay at the Cavendish, although the main part of our trip to London was mainly outside of the hotel for the time we spent in it, we had a comfortable stay. The beds was soft and we slept well and the rest of the rooms amenities were fine, apart from finding the tea making facilities on a tray in the wardrobe?? Could it not have been put next to the coffee machine? I think overall it is definitely a place we would be happy to stay in again.
