Just do it.

When you walk in the door at the Marriott you have to pass about three or four staff members, all of whom say hello. If you need anything, you ask for it and it happens. This is a seriously good hotel, the best I have ever stayed at. Better still, it's on the South Bank, almost directly across from Big Ben. Get the Big Ben view rooms. No trade practices problems there, you get exactly that. Loved everything. Would recommend blowing a few extra bucks on this one to anyone who can afford it.

Luxury in an ideal location

We upgraded to a room with a view of Big Ben, illuminated at night. It was beautiful. Each night we were able to enjoy a slice of London from our window. The room was spacious even with an additional single bed moved in. The beds were so-o-o comfortable. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, the attentive staff ensured we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk outside onto The Thames and The London Eye.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

We dined on the Tattershall Castle, a floating restaurant on the opposite side of the Thames River. You will be able to see the blue boat floating opposite the London Eye. Basic but tasty food with GREAT views and wonderful atmosphere ... was it the wine, the simple décor, the staff or our companions? Perhaps a combination of all.
