Wallace Collection hotels
With almost 5,500 objects, the Wallace Collection is best known for its French paintings, porcelain, and furniture. Housed in central London at the Hertford House, a large eighteenth century brick house, the collection was redeveloped as a museum which opened in 1900, that was converted to a public museum in 1990. Not only does the house contain thousands of amazing pieces of artwork, but it also hosts many events throughout the year, including debates, demonstrations of swordplay, and period dance exhibitions. From talks and lectures to art classes and family events, everyone will find something to enjoy at this museum.
- Take a regular tour of the highlights of the Wallace Collection; these tours discuss the history of the house and some of the finest pieces in the collection.

- Drink a French tea or have alight meal in the afternoon at the Wallace Collection café; reservations are advisable for dining on Friday or Saturday!
