Piccadilly Theatre hotels
Piccadilly Theatre is one of London’s landmark theatrical venues. Completed in the late 1920s by Bertie Crewe and Edward Stone, the building dons an Art Deco interior and seats over 1,200 guests. The venue originally served as a movie theatre for cutting-edge studio premieres. In 1936, the facility was renamed “the London Casino” and served as a performance house for live shows, later sustaining damage during the city’s bombing during World War II. Since then, several famous musicals have been performed at the now-renamed Piccadilly Theatre, including both stage plays and popular revues.
- Attend one of Piccadilly Theatre’s world-renowned performances such as the classic plays “Guys and Dolls” and “Ghost.”
- Enjoy a drink or some late-night dancing at one of the many lavish London clubs located all around this famous theatre;
- Shop the day away at the trendy London Soho district located just a few minutes away from Piccadilly Theatre.
London has many international and national airports that allow for easy and varied access to this bustling metropolis. Most international travellers fly into either the Gatwick or Heathrow Airports. From there holidaymakers can take public transportation to Piccadilly Theatre using taxicabs, rental cars, public buses, or the London underground subway (known locally as “the Tube”). Visitors travelling along the Tube to Piccadilly Theatre should take either the Bakerloo or Piccadilly lines until reaching Piccadilly Circus. Travellers should then exit onto Shaftesbury Theatre and walk the short distance to the theatre. Holidaymakers with rental cars can park on Brewer Street near the theatre.
