Big Ben hotels
The iconic Big Ben four-faced clock tower is not only one of the most famous structures in England but one of the most recognizable in the world. This prominent Gothic Revival structure was completed in 1858 and was Augustus Pugin’s final architectural design before descending into madness. Since its completion, however, it has become the symbol of London not only for its visual appeal but for the sound of the famous chimes housed within. Big Ben has been used in many films as an establishing shot of this grand old city, cementing its place in popular lore.
