The cathedral city of Lichfield is located in Staffordshire, England, roughly 25 km (16 miles) north of Birmingham. It is hailed for its old cultural traditions and 230 buildings included on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. The city is renowned for being home to a magnificent three-spired medieval cathedral and for being the birthplace of the writer Samuel Johnson.
