Welcome to Coul House the perfect place to base oneself to rediscover the romance and beauty of the Highlands - certainly a destination where one should plan on staying for more than just a couple of nights.
General

The very accessible location and peaceful setting of this property makes it the ideal venue for business events of 12-50 delegates and the professional staffs ensures your event runs smoothly and successfully. Get yourself involved in various activities such as fishing, biking, shooting, golfing as well as forest walks to enjoy and have loads of fun.

There are 60 onsite parking spaces avialable
Location

Thoughtfully positioned to offer commanding views of the Strathconon Valley and the mountains beyond, the Coul House Inverness is also nearby to many splendid attractions such as Brodie Castle, Cawdor Castle, Tomatin Jacobite Cruises, Fort George, Eden Court Theatre and much more.

Follow the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge, at the Tore roundabout take the second left sign posted Dingwall and Ullapool A835. At the next roundabout again take the second left to stay on the A835 sign posted to Ullapool. The next village is Contin about 6 miles from the roundabout. Once in Contin the entrance to the driveway is the third right (approximately 200 yards) after the petrol station. The Hotel is located up the hill at the end of the half-mile gravel driveway.

Coul house has three different sized meeting rooms to cater for a boardroom style or a theatre style conference to a banquet for that very special occasion or intimate cocktail party.

The grand octagonal shape restaurant which is the centrepiece of the hotel, with an intricately stuccoed ceiling, complete with Greek key, thistle and Celtic knot motifs. Often in the evening you'll see beautiful sunsets through the three ceiling to floor windows which offer fabulous views of the surrounding area. Both a grill and an a la carte menu are available, offering contemporary gourmet meals with an imaginative menu. Ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible, often featuring Scottish Game, local Salmon homemade breads, pastries and delightful desserts.

The Coul House hotel is a very well restored country home with all the comforts of home. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

A beautiful hotel. Excellent service.

A beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Excellent food. Suite was spotless and exceedingly comfortable. All staff went out of thier way to be accomodating. Our evening meal was fantastic as was the breakfast I only wish we could have spent more time there. The views from the hotel were breathtaking and all so reasonabley priced. I will book this hotel again and highly recomend it
