Excellent hotel

This is the second time i've stayed here and was even more delighted this time than i was the first time. The room was absolutely amazing. That's what i like about this hotel, there is no two rooms the same so it's a nice surprise when you open the door and see what you've got. The staff are lovely and friendly and the breakfast was really nice, although the bacon was a bit dry and hard. apart from that it was 10/10

When we arrived at the Royal Scots Club, we were very impressed with the exterior, and it continued when we entered the building...we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who gave us all the details we needed. Our room was downstairs and was absolutely spotless, it was light and airy and quite spacious, with a lovely ensuite bathroom with lovely extras of toiletries / complimentary slippers etc. Our stay included a full scottish breakfast which was served in the very impressive dining room and was delicious. We were staying at the hotel as we were going to the Stand comedy club which was about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is about a 10 minute pleasant walk away from the centre of Edinburgh. We stay in edinburgh quite a few times throughout the year, and have stayed at many hotels and B&B's. i'm just glad we have came accross this Gem...i have already booked my next stay at his hotel for June.

Hidden Gem

Perfect bolthole with friendly staff. The communal areas were very warm and the rooms were comfortable. Beds were perfect. . . Substantial breakfast. . . Ideally situated with only a 15 minute walk to the Royal Mile and the castle. Dont want to write too glowing a report as next time we go to Edinburgh The Royal Scots Club won't have rooms available!!!
