Excellent accommodation!

In terms of location & environment: Hotel is not very close to the city centre or train station, yet it is easy to get there by bus just near by. If you prefer to do some walking, it takes around 20mins to get to the city centre, it's quite enjoyable still. The environment of the hotel is very nice! With beautiful flowers surrounded and very quite and peaceful. Inside the hub of the convention centre, you can find the convenient store and dinning house. In terms of service: Receptionists from the counter, staff for housekeeping are very friendly and helpful. Providing travel information and suggestion. Breakfast is included, have a wide range of choice, quality is quite nice. Parking is free and always available In terms of room condition: The room is very big and comfy, very clean and new. Bed is very comfortable that I have had a very good sleep. Book shelf, drawer, closet, lighting are all very well equipped. I always hate the kettle with the dirty heating wire inside, yet as I remember its model is not built-in for direct heating or it is very clean that I can use very reassured Though the room I have booked is with shared bathroom, it is very convenient and clean. I like its shower especially, strong hydraulic with the just right angle of shower head. Overall, it is an excellent stay!!!

Over commercialised

Arrived at 1.40pm , was told could not have room till 3, thought I'd just leave my bag Adidas staying just the night - they wanted extra money !!! Paper Filling out far too much for the hotel benefit, followed by a ridiculously difficult stupid time taking internet registration , the staff themselves had difficulties helping me register & so eventually put me down as staff - to get me online ..phew. All this for a weary customer - never again !!

Too far & door banging

Fair price, a distance to the centre though, fair breakfast - had worse & better. The big negative for me was the loud constant door closures - banging!! - the doorways ought to be more sophisticated so as to stop automatically closing -slamming !!!

Pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of the accommodation. The reception was bright and modern and the staff were really friendly and genuinely interested in doing the best job they could. This could be said of all members of staff I met. The room was clean and well maintained. I reported a blocked shower drain which was sorted in hours. My only criticism is that the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the TV was very small and awkwardly positioned. On a positive note, free wifi across the campus and a great breakfast buffet. The JMCC bar served excellent light meals in the evening. Everything was reasonably priced and you definitely didn't get the feeling you were being ripped off at every turn. An adequate little shop was open from 8am to 8pm every day. Altogether a great experience and excellent value for money. Yet really get more than you deserve for the price you pay!

Its a student campus...

... And thats what you get. Its a clean bed, a bathroom and a poor shower and a huge breakfast of course. Bang for bucks. Probably less suitable for families with small children. I enjoyed it. I'll use it again!
