Wonderful hotel, excellent location.

Our stay was perfect, the hotel is a very nice hotel. We have stayed in many Best Western's and this is one of the nicest. Food fantastic, both morning and evening meals. We stayed here due the the fact it was near to the area where our son is based, but if staying because you need to be near to the city centre, well this is also perfect. This is our second stay here and we will be coming back again. The only down side is there is NO lift, and after a long day out, they can be a little tough, for my tired body and bones, buy hey i slept well. Thank you, see you soon. Roy

one night stay

Pleasant staff. Only had breakfast and it was good. Good sized room although a bit dated, needs a freshen up. Believe they are in the process as all public areas downstairs have been done and look really nice. Bathroom good sized as well, needs a freshen up too. Shower not much power but adequate. Would definately stay again if in that area.

Good hotel

The important things were done right - clean room; friendly, helpful staff. The food was ok, and the breakfast was above average. The decor is starting to look a little worn in places, but overall good value.

Good 2 night stay

We were in edinburgh for a couple of nights just to see the sights, the hotel has free parking and a bus stop right outside which takes you straight in to princes street and back again with no longer than 10 to 15 mins wait at any time. Hotel room is fairly basic although clean, bathroom was small with just a shower, hotel has a lovely bar which has been refurbished, there is a bistro which we ate in and provides good quality pub grub, breakfast was great with plenty of everything to choose from, free wifi was helpful as well. We got a good deal on the hotel and would definately go back as its ideal for a few days sight seeing, overall all it provides clean basic amenities and the staff were friendly and helpful.

relaxing getaway

Very comfortable stay. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Although a bit out of the city we could leave the car and travel by bus which stops out side the hotel. We have stayed here frequently and will certainly return

Short city break

This is our fifth stay at this hotel. The staff are all so helpful and pleasant. The only downside in this almost perfect hotel is the absence of a lift but we will certainly be back. The hotel has plenty of parking and there is a direct bus into the centre of the city.
