Tynecastle Stadium hotels
Edinburgh’s Tynecastle Stadium is a 17,400-seat football stadium that was opened on April 10, 1886. This beautifully designed stadium is home to the Scottish Premier League club Hearts. There are four sections of the football stadium, all built at different points in time – Main Stand (the oldest), Roseburn Stand, Gorgie Stand, and Wheatfield Stand. Fans in every section can enjoy spectacular views of the field and sidelines. Tynecastle Stadium is located near plenty of dining and shopping outlets. Watching a live football match here is an experience not to be missed by any sports fan.
- Purchase tickets to see Edinburgh’s Heart of Midlothian Football Club play an exciting game of football; their best matches are usually against the St. Mirren and Hibernian football clubs.
- After watching a game, head over to the Tynecastle Arms pub and chose from a large selection of cold drinks.
- The Edinburgh Zoo is in easy reach of Tynecastle Stadium and is home to giant pandas, chimpanzees, an Asian lion, and exotic-looking squirrel monkeys; stop by before or after going to a football match.
