Trinity is part of Edinburgh, Scotland in the northern district and is considered to be one of the most desirable neighbourhoods for residence. It has an interesting architectural mix of houses from the Victorian period along with modern designs. The streets in Trinity provide a lovely view of nature and architecture, where cycling and walking paths are frequent, crisscrossing in and out of local parks and residential streets. It is located a short distance from the centre of the city with many historic attractions, museums, and art galleries. Set right near the city’s coastal land, it is an interesting culture of fisheries, modern establishments, and old school architecture.
- Start your morning off by visiting Henrys Café for coffee and a scone while you sit and watch the crowd outside.
- Learn the maritime history of the area by visiting the Trinity House Maritime Museum and hear the stories of local captains while viewing relics of the past.
- Spend the afternoon at the Royal Botanical Gardens less than a mile away from Trinity and enjoy unique flowers and horticulture.
Trinity is close to the city centre and is easily accessible by walking or cycling if you’re already in Edinburgh. Many of the historic and cultural attractions are within walking distance. You can also find a City Cab ready to take you where you need to go from anywhere. It is also a short distance from Haymarket Station, and the Lothian bus line will take you around Edinburgh from Trinity. For those who prefer their own transportation, you can easily hire a car to take you around town. The Edinburgh Airport is well outside the city, so that might be the best option.
