The Grange hotels
The Grange is a rather picturesque neighbourhood of Edinburgh located a few kilometres from Old Town, where one will find most of the major historical landmarks like the Scottish Parliament House, Holyrood Park, and St. Giles Cathedral. The suburb is an excellent place to lodge whilst touring the Royal Mile or investigating the purportedly-haunted Edinburgh Vaults. Those who enjoy more modern cultural attractions will enjoy the Fruitmarket Gallery, which offers free contemporary art exhibits as well as a stylish cafe and book shop. Visitors in need of a workout may climb Arthur's Seat for a fantastic view of the Leith.
- Admire the Villa and other grand Victorian-era homes and beautiful gardens as well as the original stone Lauder Griffins, remnants of the former Grange House for which The Grange is named.
- Shop for fashions, music, and souvenirs in the various establishments on Princes Street, which is the premier shopping boulevard in Edinburgh.
- Stroll the peaceful grounds and photograph the gorgeous flora and fauna of Edinburgh's Royal Botanical Gardens.
Edinburgh Airport is nineteen kilometres from The Grange using the A720 motorway and just over an hour's ride by Lothian public bus or the Airlink Express. Visitors can arrive by train at the Waverley Railway Station in the city centre or by road using the M8 and M9 motorways from other Scottish cities. There are regular intercity buses that serve the Scottish capital from all over the United Kingdom. The Grange is well-served by Lothian and First buses, and one may engage a sightseeing bus or the Edinburgh Coach Lines to see the most popular attractions.
