Located just to the north of Edinburgh in Scotland lies the quaint and unassuming town of Pilrig, named after a peel tower on the ridge that is no longer standing. Cross-street Bonnington Road also has regular bus service from the number 36. Many visitors to Pilrig and Edinburgh choose to use private vehicles to get around, so taxis and hired cars are suitable substitutes. It is a short ride for travellers coming from Edinburgh central; take the N22 double-decker Lothian Bus to Pilrig Street and walk to the park. The trip takes roughly seven minutes.
