Museum of Scotland
Visitors will appreciate the diversity of the Museum of Scotland as they explore nature, art, world cultures, and the history of Scotland, not to mention some of the country’s most groundbreaking science and technology displays. Nestled amidst Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, the museum features new, culturally-informed exhibitions every few weeks, a dynamism and variety that famously attracts thousands of admirers to the Museum of Scotland every year. Included within the museum’s beautifully-restored facilities—reopening to much acclaim in July of 2011—are ancient fossils, cutting-edge technological inventions, and just about everything in-between, making the Museum of Scotland a destination sure to spark the interest of any member of the family.
