East Craigs hotels
The one-of-a-kind residential district of East Craigs, lying in stunning Edinburgh’s north-western quarter, was once a sprawling farmland until the Scottish Agricultural Science Agency (SASA) finally bought it in the 1930’s. Since then, this fascinating area that provides balances between native local tastes and capital city hustle-bustle, has been a prime location for residential construction. East Craigs extends adjacently from the green belt, a much-beloved local parkland that entertains hundreds of families every day, and provide this inimitable suburb with picturesque surroundings. Included amongst East Craigs’ compelling historic structures is the SASA's former headquarters, which is situated within the East Craigs House. Newer developments have been constructed throughout the enclave to facilitate the area’s budding holidaymaker traffic, though quaint native vibes continue to be the area’s most invaluable characteristic.

- Play one of the legendary golf courses outside of Edinburgh like Muirland, which hosts the Open, along with the several charming courses at Dalmahoy.
- Enjoy fine dining at the Witchery, a city centre restaurant serving both lunch and dinner, as well as special theatre courses before and after the facility’s entertainment shows.
Although Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city, the area is actually quite tight-nit, and can be easily traversed on foot. Bicycle rentals are also widely available and are one of the city’s most popular forms of transit. Edinburgh’s famously convenient and efficient bus transit systems provide transportation throughout the city and surrounding areas. Hired cars are also widely available, but parking in city centres can be difficult.
