Braid Hills hotels
Braid Hills is a wonderful park in Edinburgh. It was established as an official park by the city in 1890 and now features two of the most popular golf courses in the area, as well as a wildlife shelter. This is an excellent place for horse riding and nature walks, as visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the city’s old castles, historic houses, palaces, churches, and cathedrals. Visitors can also rest at the nearby three-story sandstone hotel and enjoy a number of unique Scottish dishes in a romantic setting away from the bustle and noise of the city.
- Check out the many museums in Braid Hills; at the National Museum of Scotland, you can see a T-Rex, and at the Scottish National Gallery, you can marvel at works of art from Edinburgh and around the world.
- Experience authentic entertainment at the amazing theatres here; you can get tickets to various stage productions like the Scottish Opera and Scotland's National Theatre.
- Enjoy a few rounds of golf at the world-class golfing facilities located in Braid Hills or go to a comedy show at one of the local Edinburgh clubs.
