1st Anniversary

My wife & I stayed here recently for our first anniversary. From the moment we came through the door to the moment we checked out the service was impeccable. The hotel is very quirky with its age but it's complimented by its grand staircase. The rooms were clean and very nice. The staff is what makes any hotel and The Queens has an excellence in every area. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful old hotel in spectacular location

This is a stately hotel with the pros and cons that go with that. It's clean and functional but it is old so creaky and a little tired. Our room was tiny and Internet connection is complicated and slow. It's centrally located on the wonderful Promenade and surrounded by nice shops and restaurants as well as beautiful gardens and classic buildings.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Brasserie Blanc next door is an excellent restaurant with a good wine list.
