Hove Actually

This little gem of a hotel looks like an old lady that has had a hard life from the outside but fear not it has a heart of gold. The rooms are comfortable although the weekend brings party goers and the beds can be heard squeeking throughout the night but the water is always hot in the clean bathroom. A hot shower and down to breakfast to be served by the amazing Tyrone who will let you into Brighton's secret spots off the tourist trap. Full english breakfast filling you up for a day out which can be started by just crossing the road to the beach - could not get a better start than that.

My daughter and I stayed here

My daughter and I stayed here when travelling around country England. We enjoyed our stay and the young gentleman in reception could not have been more helpful. I wish I had his name to mention here. The hotel was once houses and this adds to its charm. The room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was fine. We would stay there again however it was a reasonable walk to Brighton Pier and centre of town. But it was not onerous.

The room was small but clean, everything worked. There were several steps to go up and down after getting out of the lift. A reasonably priced hotel for what you get. Staff were all very friendly. (Especially the night porter who made me toast when I got in at 3am).

I had a quiet, single room at the back with all I needed for a short stay.It is very near the beach and seafront, just 200yards.Breakfast was really good and the service was quick and pleasant. I had a problem with my bill which they sorted out quickly, and its a very reasonably priced hotel. All in all a very good nights stay
