Great value for a 5 star hotel

Managed to snatch a deal for only $60++ per night for 2 pax! The decor of the hotel was impressive, which is expected for a 5 star hotel. Staff was helpful and polite in general. Room is extremely spacious (including the bathroom), and comfortable. Also, it was very well-maintained. Housekeeping was impeccable. Pool is slightly small but adequate for a leisure swim. Gym is also sufficient, with a variety of choices. Locker rooms on the level has a sauna room and steam room as well. Opening hours are 6am - 10pm. However, hotel staff is almost never seen on this level, which makes it rather inconvenient at times when you need help. Location of the hotel is great, a mere 5 minute walk to the Phaya thai station. There is also a great street for street food on Rangnam Road nearby. It is also possible to walk to Pratunam, although it is quite a long walk of approx 15 minutes (straight-forward route). Hiring a taxi is no problem as the hotel is located on a busy street. Concierge has a staff that runs out to the main road to direct taxis into the lobby area for the convenience of guests.

Very nice

Stayed two nights in early Feb, 2014. The hotel is near to a monorail station which is handy. The rooms have a high level of comfort, and the breakfast is very good. Pool is nice, the spa is nice too. Staff very helpful. Free wi-fi. Staying there a few more nights in a few days' time.

Spacious lobby

Hotel lobby is spacious, but not the room. Facilities in room are kind of old. Bath tub is very small. I rather live in a great value 3 star hotel than this one.

Perfect location, excellent staff!

I booked this hotel because it is the best location for my trip in Bangkok. It takes just 5 minutes to reach Airport line station and BTS station. It saves us much time in transit... The staff is excellent and they are mostly polite. Most of them understand English and provide you instant assistance, while others can refer you to the help desk. My room is spacious, clean and tidy. Soundproof can be improved a little bit. After all it is a valuable pick!

Impressive Lobby - crowded breakfast buffet

Fantastic atrium lobby area and outside sitting areas, impressive customer service oriented staff who never stop greeting you with their legendary "Thai wei"!! Our stay at the hotel was a little spoiled by an overcrowded breakfast area - It appears that bus load after bus load of Chinese tourists all like to eat at the same time congesting the breakfast buffet area to the extent that there was no real people flow management!! We got elbowed left, right and centre - We wished that we had not included breakfast in our room payment plan. Otherwise the hotel's location was handy right next to the sky-train station...
