Great stay

Good: -Excellent location that very near to BTS Saphan Taksin, especially if you want to visit Asiatique which the pier is only 5 mins walk from hotel. -Staff are very nice including the lady making eggs during the breakfast time in the restaurant. They also responded my email very quick when I asked them to confirm by booking arrangement before the trip. - Hotel room is very big, also the washroom too. Bad: - there are some ants around the sink. Keep appearing everyday even after you had get rid of them. - decorations and furniture are showing signs of age, but if you don't really care about it that's fine as long as the room is generally clean In general I have a comfortable stay in this hotel, I will come back if there is discount price for the room.

Excellent buffet breakfast with food variety's from many country's. 5 minute walk to train and ferry services

Great location! Rude cleanin staff

The location was amazing. However we booked two single beds and got given a queen, not being a couple they pulled in an extra fold out bed but it was very uncomfortable. Sometime had to wait a while to hire an return DVDs. The cleaning staff for the room could be rude. However the stay overall was positive. Free coffee machine the the reception defiantly helped.

Everything was good, especially the location, just go out exit 3 and turn left. When you see Robison then turn left.It easy to find and walk about 2-3 mins. One thing I suggested to improve that the shower was too slow. Anyway I have a good holiday in Centre Point Silom.

nice location

I initally thought this hotel was a bit isolated, with rebuilding of the department store going on around it, but it was very close to ferries and train, which made commuting around Bangkok easy. Room was spacious, with good river views and an accessable ' balcony'. A small kitchenette and washing machine was a bonus in the room. Reception staff were a little 'hot and cold' but bell boys and the security guards made up for this. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with the restaurant overlooking the pool, with the well equiped gym adjacent to burn off the breakie! Although check out is at 12, there are showers and change area available in the gym which was very appreciated.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Turn left in the street to find some local restaurants. Plenty of street food surrounding the street to the ferry.

Exxcellent location!

I stayed at this hotel beacuse it is close to BTS (train system), and within a few minutes to the conference venue (at a nearby large hotel). Getting to the venue by a boat taxi every morning was an excellent way to start the day. Coffee served at the lobby was a great service, though sometimes the coffee machine was out of order. The room was clean and spacious with kitchen and dining facility. I would like to come back to this hotel in the future.

Some Problems with the actual room, & still little 'misses'

I have stayed at Centrepoint Silom a number of times before and like everything about the place, so keep coming back. Location, the convenience of being right above a supermarket and department store, access close to the river ferries and train station, plus amenities such as in room cooking and dining facilities, well equipped gym, sauna and great pool (long enough to do decent laps), friendly, very helpful staff and large rooms with river views...all add up to a good experience. This time, however, I was given an otherwise lovely corner room on the 23rd floor, with views of the river out two sides rather than just one...fantastic. But, the devil was in the detail. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, despite a router/booster being screwed to the ceiling of the adjacent room, the shower leaked badly and always made the floor and floor towel wet, despite the great extra, sheltered balcony on the extra side we had, no one had put any thought in how to best use it and it was simply bare...a table and chairs enabling outside dining and a few pot plants would not be that hard and would really lift the experience of the room's potential, as it no doubt would for all the others beneath it with the same floor plan and extra balcony. I have already suggested to staff here it is crazy to provide cooking and eating equipment n the room, but provide no dish cleaning mop/wand, or dish detergent with which to wash them. It is not really good enough to just rinse them under the kitchen sink's tap, which, on this floor, takes around 5 minutes to deliver hot water ( a major problem in the shower too, as you wait ages to get hot water, then it is so hot it scalds you, so you have to turn it down, it then gets cold quickly and you have to wait again for the hot to come back after turning it up). You also have nothing with which to wipe down the table, bench or sink after cleaning up and washing up, as a sponge is not provided either. Centrepoint, these are just little things, but they would turn these little disappointments into an overall very satisfied stay quite easily. Fix them all, and the hotel would be just about perfect. Max - Australia

Shopping tip: In Hotel

Robinsons Dept store is about to close for many months for some major renovations, so can only assume it will cause some disruption and removal of what has been a fabulous convenience via its own door right near the lift lobby.
