Area description
Centre Point Silom is situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, "The River of Kings", which in times long gone, was the focal of Thai lifestyle. It is still as important today. Silom Road was originally a tree-lined canal, one of many in old Bangkok which was once called "The Venice of the East". Thai riverside life is still celebrated and there is nowhere better than the Centre Point Silom. The nearby Saphan Taksin BTS Station provides easy access to travel around Bangkok.

Excellent

We stayed at this hotel after I had an operation in a local hospital. It was perfect for me to relax and for my partner to utilise the gym/pool facilities whilst I watched lots of films from the hotel library. Staff were excellent at meeting our requests for more pillows and changing the moving wheels on the bed to make me more comfortable. The salon within the hotel was great too. Even more of a plus that the hotel is connected to Robinsons - perfect to pick up anything you might want and not even have to go outside. Stay here...

Great stay

Good: -Excellent location that very near to BTS Saphan Taksin, especially if you want to visit Asiatique which the pier is only 5 mins walk from hotel. -Staff are very nice including the lady making eggs during the breakfast time in the restaurant. They also responded my email very quick when I asked them to confirm by booking arrangement before the trip. - Hotel room is very big, also the washroom too. Bad: - there are some ants around the sink. Keep appearing everyday even after you had get rid of them. - decorations and furniture are showing signs of age, but if you don't really care about it that's fine as long as the room is generally clean In general I have a comfortable stay in this hotel, I will come back if there is discount price for the room.

Great location! Rude cleanin staff

The location was amazing. However we booked two single beds and got given a queen, not being a couple they pulled in an extra fold out bed but it was very uncomfortable. Sometime had to wait a while to hire an return DVDs. The cleaning staff for the room could be rude. However the stay overall was positive. Free coffee machine the the reception defiantly helped.

Great hotel if you're travelling with a family

Very close to bts station. Linked to Robinsons where shopping and food aplenty. Nice, spacious rooms with washer and kitchen. A very satisfying stay.

Everything was good, especially the location, just go out exit 3 and turn left. When you see Robison then turn left.It easy to find and walk about 2-3 mins. One thing I suggested to improve that the shower was too slow. Anyway I have a good holiday in Centre Point Silom.

nice location

I initally thought this hotel was a bit isolated, with rebuilding of the department store going on around it, but it was very close to ferries and train, which made commuting around Bangkok easy. Room was spacious, with good river views and an accessable ' balcony'. A small kitchenette and washing machine was a bonus in the room. Reception staff were a little 'hot and cold' but bell boys and the security guards made up for this. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with the restaurant overlooking the pool, with the well equiped gym adjacent to burn off the breakie! Although check out is at 12, there are showers and change area available in the gym which was very appreciated.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Turn left in the street to find some local restaurants. Plenty of street food surrounding the street to the ferry.
