Snake Farm hotels
Bangkok is a large city with many districts that offer sightseeing, cultural interaction and affordable accommodation. Founded in 1923 and located in the Thai Red Cross Institute is the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute Snake Farm. It is famous for specialising in husbandry of venous snakes, which is more commonly known as the extraction and research of venom in the snake farm. The research done at the farm is very important, with many people falling victim to venomous snakebite. The farm is also home to thousands of serpents from across the world including the legendary King Cobra.
- Visit a live exhibition show at the snake farm where handlers milk venom from snakes and show their mastery over and knowledge of the different types of snakes and their habits.

- Take a canal tour through Bangkok’s Thonburi and Nonthaburi, heading through the backwaters and seeing places such as the floating market and Royal Barges National Museum.
The snake farm is located close to the Chulanlongkorn Hospital on the corner of Henri Dunant Road and Rama IV Road. Bangkok has two airports, namely Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang Airport. Suvarnabhumi is the main airport and one of the busiest in Southeast Asia operating an airport rail link, public bus and shuttle service. Metered taxis or public taxis are also available to transport travellers. The BRS, MRT and ARL sky train systems operate within the city covering most of downtown with lines running to the National Stadium, which is located next to MBK centre.
