Face it interlaken Switzerland is an expensive place to stay. Not sure how this hotel relates to others value wise but we certainly expected more than what we got for what we paid. Location was good. But the room was dated and the decor looked
like a children's room. Also there was no air condition, only a fan.. In summer with hot temperatures this was unbearable. The second night was so hot that we had to leave the balcony door open and still the room was boiling. Sleepless night. When we complained to the hotel receptionist she said that no hotels in interlaken have air con bar the victoria jung Frau hotel. Also there was a blood stain on our doona/duvet that was previously there which we were very unimpressed by.

The hotel is located very near
The hotel is located very near to Interlaken west railway station. It is just 10 minutes by walk.
But the pricing is bit high considering the small size of the single room. They have a mini bar inside the room. You can use the drinks in it and pay
when you check out.
Also the rooms do not have air conditioner. It will be very difficult to stay here in summer. Even in a cold season like this it was soultry for me inside the room.
The hotel is very clean and they offer a decent breakfast.
The reception staff are cordial and provide very good information about the city and tourist spots. But they work only till 11 PM and after that recption staff will answer only emergency calls. Thus it is difficult to get some information in late night.
