The Leeum Samsung Museum of Art is a museum in Seoul, South Korea that features a spectacular collection of traditional and modern Korean art. The museum is run by the Samsung Foundation of Culture and is made up of two parts known as Museum 1 and Museum 2 The first museum was designed by Swiss architect Maria Botta, and the second by French architect Jean Nouvel and Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The Leeum Samsung Museum of Art houses several items that are considered national treasures of South Korea, making it one of the most important collections in the region.

Seoul has some of the best public transportation in the world and since parking around the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art is so limited, it is highly recommended that visitors choose public transport over driving. The best way to get there is to use the Seoul Subway and get off at the Hangangjin station that is about a five-minute walk from the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art. There are guides on site but they need to be arranged in advance, otherwise you can hire one of the digital guides on offer at the museum.
